Light- Fish

We are out here in Auroville, specifically at the Aurelec premises. The name of the place is Light- Fish, and we have been working from this corner for quite some time now. Auroville has its own pace, and we definitely feel that in our daily work. It is a bit different from being in a big city office. We spend a lot of time with the materials and the designs, just working away in the studio space. The trees are all around us, and it makes for a very specific kind of atmosphere while we work. People find their way to Aurelec to see what is being made, and we are just one part of that bigger community. We don't have a big sales team or anything like that. It is mostly just us handling the day-to-day tasks and making sure the lights or whatever we are working on are coming along fine. Sometimes the power goes out or things slow down, but that is just part of living and working in this area. We take our time to get things right. There is a lot of hand-on work involved, so our hands are usually busy with something or other. It is a quiet existence but one that keeps us satisfied with the things we produce right here in this patch of greenery. It feels good to create things in a place that is so close to nature.
