We are based at the post in Nagad, which is part of the Kannad taluka in Aurangabad. Our office is actually at the place of Shri Subhash Kashinath Baviskar. It is a local setup, very much integrated into the village life here. Being out in Nagad means we are away from the big city noise, which we actually prefer. The office is simple and functional. We spend a lot of time on the porch or in the main room dealing with the local community. Everyone around here knows Subhash’s place, so finding us isn't a problem for the locals. We handle our day-to-day operations without much fuss. There are no big glass windows or fancy elevators here. It is just a sturdy building in a rural area. We wake up, get the office ready, and see who comes by. The pace is a little slower than Aurangabad city, but we still have plenty of work to keep us occupied. We deal with various urban nidhi tasks throughout the week. It’s important for us to be accessible to the people in the taluka. We are just regular people working in a regular house in Nagad. We don't have a mission statement on the wall; we just have our desks and our ledgers. That is the way we like to do things around here. We just take it one day at a time.
