Viraanu Association

Viraanu Association is based over in Ambedkar Nagar, specifically the N-7 area of Cidco. It’s a busy neighborhood and we’re right in the middle of it. We don't have a fancy building or a big sign out front. We’re just a local group trying to do some good for the community. Most of us live right nearby, so we see the daily struggles people have. We aren't some big NGO with lots of funding. We mostly just use what we have and put in the time. Our office is a simple place where we meet up to plan things or just talk to neighbors who stop by. We don't really do the whole professional, polished thing. We talk like normal people and we work like normal people. Sometimes we run out of supplies or have to wait for things to happen, but we stay patient. It’s not always easy working in Cidco, as there’s always something going on, but we like being where the action is. We focus on being a support for the people around N-7. If someone has a problem, they know they can come find us. We don't make big promises we can't keep. We just try to help out in small ways that add up over time. It’s honest work and we’re glad to be a part of this community, even when things get a little messy or difficult.
