We are located at H No 256 in Jaibhavani Nagar, over in the CIDCO N 4 area. It is a residential neighborhood for the most part, so it is usually pretty quiet around the office doors. We started this chit fund business because people around here needed a way to save together. We don't have any flashy signs or big advertisements on the main roads. Most people just find us because they live a few streets away or their cousin told them where our office was. The building itself is just a regular house that we've converted a little bit to fit our desks. Inside, it's pretty basic with some chairs for people to sit while they wait their turn. We spend a lot of our time filling out forms and keeping track of the monthly collections. It’s a lot of paperwork, to be honest, but it keeps us busy during the day. We see the same group of people every month when it’s time for the draw. Sometimes we have a little chat about the weather or how the local kids are doing in their school exams. It feels more like a community thing than a big business. We just make sure the money is handled right and everyone gets their fair share when it’s their time. It’s not a complicated life we lead here. We show up, do the books, and go home to our families.
