Dinesh Verma Photography

I've been doing this for a while now from my place at Shreyash Apartment. It's just me, Dinesh, taking photos for people around Shreya Nagar. I started out small, mostly just helping neighbors with their family events and it grew from there. The flat is near Padmavti Hospital, which most people know in the Kalda Corner area. It's not a big fancy studio, just a workspace where I handle my equipment and edit the shots. I usually go out to where the action is, whether it's a small gathering or just someone needing a portrait. I don't really have a big staff or anything, so when you call, you're just talking to me. Sometimes the lighting is tricky or the weather doesn't help, but I just try to get the job done right. I keep my gear ready in my bag and move around quite a bit. Living near the hospital makes it easy to find for anyone dropping off files or wanting to chat about a shoot. I don't do much fancy advertising because word of mouth keeps me busy enough. It’s a lot of long hours sometimes, especially after the photos are taken and I have to sit at the computer. I try to stay organized but sometimes the desk gets a bit messy with hard drives. It’s just how it goes when you’re working on several things at once. I'm just here doing what I know how to do.
