Tinku Kirana Store

Tinku Kirana Store is located in the Aurangabad Ho area, specifically around Shekhapura. Being in Maharashtra, we get a lot of local people stopping by for their daily groceries. The shop is small and filled with many different items piled up on top of each other. You will find snacks, tea leaves, and sugar all within reach. It is a bit cramped inside because we try to keep as much stock as possible for the regulars who live in the neighborhood. The street outside can be a bit dusty, and we are constantly wiping down the jars of sweets on the front counter. I usually start the day by sweeping the front and arranging the milk crates that arrive early in the morning. People know us by name here, and it’s mostly just a routine of helping people find what they need for their dinner. Sometimes the children come in after school looking for small candies or biscuits, and that’s always the loudest part of the day. We don't have any fancy computers or billing systems, just a notebook and a pen to keep track of things. It’s a very ordinary shop, but it keeps us busy and connected to the people living around here. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but there’s never really a good time to close up and get it done. It’s just how we spend our days here in Shekhapura, waiting for the evening rush before we go home ourselves.
