If you go behind Amber Gas in Juna Bazar, you will find us. We are tucked into a small corner where it stays a bit quiet despite the market noise. Telecom Tekniks is mostly about fixing phones and small gadgets. The shop is filled with tiny parts and tools. I spend most of my day looking through a magnifying glass. It’s tricky work because the pieces are so small these days. Juna Bazar is a busy place, and there’s always something happening outside. We have a lot of regular customers who live in the neighborhood. They bring in mobiles with cracked screens or tablets that won't turn on. We don't have a big corporate office. It’s just a counter and some shelves with old boxes. The fan on the ceiling makes a clicking sound but it keeps us cool. We usually have a pile of repairs waiting for us every morning. We don't use any fancy software to track things, just a notebook and a pen. If we can't fix it, we tell you straight. No point in making people hope for nothing. The smell of solder is always in the air. We take a break in the afternoon when the sun is highest. It’s a simple way to make a living. We’ve been here for a long time and know the other shopkeepers well. We just try to do our job and go home.
