Tejraj Foundation

Finding us isn’t too hard if you know Deolai Chowk in Aurangabad. Tejraj Foundation is located at plot seventy-two, right on gat number one hundred and thirty. It’s a pretty standard spot. The sun hits the front of the building quite hard in the afternoons, so we keep the curtains pulled mostly. Inside, it’s just a regular office setup with some desks and a couple of old computers that have seen better days. We get a lot of dust coming in from the road, so cleaning is a never-ending task. There are three or four of us here most days. We handle things as they come. It’s not the kind of place where people wear suits. Usually, it’s just jeans and shirts because of the heat. We have a small corner for making tea and we keep a stack of plastic chairs for when more people show up than expected. The walls are a plain off-white color and we’ve got a few maps pinned up. Traffic around the chowk can get a bit hectic during the evening rush, so we often stay a bit late to let it clear out. We do our own filing and answer the phone when it rings. It’s a quiet enough place to get work done when the street noise isn't too bad. We’ve been at this Aurangabad location for a while and the locals know us by now. It’s just a basic workspace where we try to stay organized and get through the daily list.
