The shop is over at W-127 in the MIDC area on Hingha Road. We are right near Shakti Press, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us for the first time. Working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems means there is usually some oil on the floor and a lot of hoses lying around. It is a busy place, especially in the afternoons when the heat picks up in the shed. We spend most of our time taking things apart or putting them back together. There are a few of us here who have been doing this for years, so we have seen just about every kind of leak or pressure issue you can think of. The office part is just a small corner with a couple of chairs. Most of the real work happens out on the benches where the tools are. It gets pretty noisy when the compressors are running, so we usually have to shout a bit to be heard. We see a lot of different people coming through with parts from their machines that stopped working. Hingha Road is always packed with traffic, so getting things in and out can take a bit of patience. We just keep our heads down and focus on the job in front of us. It isn’t a glamorous place, but it’s where we do our work every day. Usually, we wrap up in the evenings when the light starts to go, unless there is a rush job that needs to stay late. We just clean the tools and get ready to do it again the next morning.
