Sumant Agro And Food Processing Private Limited is located in the CIDCO area of Aurangabad. You can find us at J-5/8 in J-Sector, N-2, right at Pramod Divekar’s place. It is more of an urban setting compared to the farms, but our hearts are in the food processing side of things. We take what comes from the fields and try to make something more out of it. It is a small operation. We do not have big industrial machines yet, but we have enough to get the job done. The neighborhood is pretty crowded, so parking can be a bit of a pain if you visit us. We handle various types of produce depending on what is in season in Maharashtra. Sometimes it is grains, other times it is vegetables. We spend a lot of time cleaning and packing things so they do not spoil. It is hard work and the hours are long during the harvest times. We are not some big corporate brand you see on TV. We are just local people who know about food and how to handle it properly. The office part is just a small corner where we do the billing and talk to suppliers.
