We are set up over at E-2 in the Waluj MIDC area. It is a massive industrial zone, so there are always trucks moving and people going to and from their shifts. Our work is with optical technologies, which sounds more technical than it feels when you’re actually on the floor. At the end of the day, it’s about making sure the cables and fibers are made correctly so people can stay connected. We have a good team here who knows their way around the machinery. It isn't always smooth sailing. Machines break down or materials arrive late, but that is just life in an industrial park. We don't put on any airs about what we do. We show up, do the work, and go home. Waluj is a long way from the city center, but it’s where the action is for manufacturing. The building itself is practical. It's built for work, not for looking pretty. Sometimes we have tea together during the breaks and talk about the local news or how the commute was that morning. It’s a regular job for regular people. We have been part of this MIDC community for a long time now. You get used to the noise and the constant activity of the other factories nearby. It is just our way of making a living and contributing something useful.
