STATEMENT URBAN MULTIPURPOSE NIDHI LIMITED

If you head over to Plot No 63 in Surewadi, near Harsool, you will find us. Statement Urban Multipurpose Nidhi Limited is tucked away in this part of Aurangabad. It is a decent area, and we have been working out of this office for some time now. We are not a huge operation. It is mostly just a few of us handling the day-to-day tasks. We keep track of the savings and the small loans for the people who live around here. The office is pretty basic, with just the desks and files we need. We do not go in for anything fancy. People usually just drop by when they have some spare time or need to sort out an entry in their passbooks. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait a bit, but that is just how it is. We know the regulars well. It is a neighborhood business, really. We do not use a lot of technical jargon when we talk to people. We just explain how things work in plain English or the local language. Being in Surewadi means we see a lot of the same people every day. It is a good feeling to be part of the community. We are not trying to change the world; we just want to make sure the accounts are right and everyone gets treated fairly. That is what we do every day from this little plot.
