Snehankur Foundation

Down at House Number 17, Sarathi, you will find our little spot. It is inside the Parimal Housing Society in Garkheda. People around here know the area well, and we have been in this house for quite some time now. Snehankur Foundation is not a fancy operation with glass walls or expensive desks. It is just a few of us working out of a room that sometimes gets a bit cluttered with papers and old files. We try to keep things tidy, but when people come in all day, it gets messy. Garkheda is a nice, quiet part of 431001. Being here means we are close to the people we are trying to help. We do not have big signs or a marketing team. Most people just hear about us from their neighbors or friends. The office fan makes a bit of a clicking sound when it is on high, but it keeps the heat away while we work. We usually have some tea going, and there is always a spare chair if someone needs to sit and talk. We do not have a grand plan to become a huge organization. Staying local and being useful to the folks in Parimal Society is enough for us. It is honest work and we do it the best we can with what we have. Sometimes the hours are a bit irregular if something comes up, but we are mostly there.
