Shri Gajanan General Store

We opened Shri Gajanan General Store here on the Main Road in Aurangabad quite some time back. It is right in the Begum Pure area, not far from Thatte Hhaud. Most days start early for us because people need things before they go to work or start their cooking. We keep all the basic items like soap, pulses, some snacks, and everyday household things. The shop isn't huge but we try to fit everything people ask for. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the small space, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. We just handle things one at a time. It’s a busy street and there is always noise from the traffic outside. We know most of the people who come in by their names because they live nearby in Aurangabad Ho. It is just a regular shop where you can get what you need without a fuss. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. Just shelves filled with boxes and packets. If someone can’t find something, they just ask and we point them to the right corner. Managing the stock takes up a lot of my time, checking what is running low and ordering more from the suppliers. It is hard work staying on your feet all day, but that is how it goes. We just keep the things people need for their houses every day right here on the main road.
