Shree-Someshwar Adarsh Urban Nidhi Limited is right in the middle of the Fruit Market at Jadhavwadi in Aurangabad. We are at Gala Number 14. If you come by early in the morning, the whole area is buzzing with trucks and people moving crates of fruit around. The smells of mangoes or oranges, depending on the season, always drift into the office. It’s a loud and busy place, which we’ve gotten used to over time. Being in a market gala means we don't have a lot of extra space. It’s a compact office where every shelf and corner is used for storing files and documents. Most of our members are the traders and workers from the market itself. They pop in between their shifts to drop off some money or check their balances. We keep a couple of chairs outside the gala too, because it gets cramped inside when more than two people visit at once. It’s a very hands-on environment. We don't wear fancy suits or have glass partitions. It’s just a counter and us on the other side. We do the paperwork while the market noise carries on outside. It’s a gritty, real place to work, but it keeps us connected to the daily life of Aurangabad. We are just here to provide a spot for the market community to handle their savings in a way that’s convenient for their busy schedules.
