Shree Gajanand Hospital

Shree Gajanand Hospital is right in Mahur, specifically opposite the SBI. That’s the State Bank of India, for those who don’t know. Being across from the bank is handy because everyone knows where that is. We have been here for a bit now. The hospital is a basic building, nothing too modern, but it does what it needs to do for the people in Mahur. We deal with all sorts of cases coming through the door. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk, but other days it feels like the whole town is waiting outside. It’s a local place, so we know a lot of the families around here. We try to keep the waiting area decent, though the chairs have seen better days. It's just a regular part of the street. We don't have a lot of staff, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from cleaning to checking in patients. Living and working in Mahur is quiet for the most part, except for the busy hours at the bank across the street. We just provide a place for people to come when they are sick. It is a simple operation and we don't try to pretend it is anything else. Just a hospital across from the SBI doing what we can for the town every day.
