Shashwat Hospital.

Down on Nashik Road, you’ll find Shashwat Hospital in the Govinda Building, which is quite close to Punjabi Bhavan. It’s a fairly easy landmark to give people when they are trying to find us for the first time. The road outside is usually buzzing with traffic, being a main route and all, but inside the building, it's a bit more peaceful. We have been operating out of this space for a good while now. It's a functional setup, nothing too fancy or over-the-top. We have our consultation rooms and the areas where we keep the medical supplies and records. Most of our day is spent seeing people who drop in from the surrounding Nashik Road area. We don’t spend money on big glossy brochures or anything. We figure if we do a decent job, people will know where to find us. The Govinda Building has a lot of different things going on, but we’ve carved out our own little corner here. Sometimes the waiting room gets a bit crowded, especially on Monday mornings, but we just work through the list as best we can. It’s a very grounded kind of place. We don't use a lot of medical jargon if we can help it, because we want people to understand what's happening. It’s just a local hospital trying to be useful to the folks living around here. It's not about being the biggest, just about being available for the neighborhood.
