Sharayu Hospital

We are out here in Telu District running Sharayu Hospital. It's not a flashy place, but it serves its purpose for the local community. Life around here is a bit slower than in the big cities, but that doesn't mean we aren't busy. We get all sorts of people coming in with different needs. Sometimes it’s just a regular check-up and other times it's something more urgent that requires us to stay late. The building has been around for a while and we do our best to keep everything in working order, though the pipes can be a bit loud in the winter months. We don't have a fancy website or a big sign with lights. Most people find us because they live nearby or their cousin told them about us. Our staff is small but we've been working together for a long time, so we have a good rhythm going. There is usually a bit of a wait during the peak hours, especially on market days when everyone is already out and about. We just have a few chairs in the front and a desk where we handle the registration. It's a straightforward operation. We deal with the day-to-day health issues of the district and try to be as helpful as we can. It’s hard work and the days are long, but we’ve become a part of the landscape here in Telu District.
