Seema Hospital

Being right in the Main Market on Sarafa Line means it is never quiet at Seema Hospital. We are surrounded by shops and people buying things all day long. The hospital building itself is tucked into the middle of all that Sillod hustle. Inside, things are a bit different, but you still hear the market noise coming through the windows. We have been here for a long time. The floors are worn down from so many people walking on them. We have several beds and a small staff that stays pretty busy with whoever walks through the door. Usually, it’s local families or farmers coming in from the outskirts. We don't have a big reception desk with a computer, mostly just notebooks and pens for keeping track of things. The hallways are narrow and sometimes we have to move chairs around to let a stretcher pass through. It can be a bit chaotic during the peak market hours when the street outside is blocked with carts. We just do our work. There’s a tea stall right outside the main gate where we get our drinks in the afternoon. The doctors are always moving between rooms. It is a practical place. We don't spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty. We focus on the patients and making sure everyone gets seen. It’s a lot of hard work, but this is where we belong in Sillod.
