Based in House No.03 Kupsarwadi, we handle local infrastructure. It’s a small operation. The post office is nearby in Vishnupuri. Mostly we are out on sites. It gets dusty. We've lived here a long time. It started because there was a need for local roads and drains. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just some desks and a lot of paperwork. Sometimes the internet is slow. But we get the jobs done. People know us by name around here. It's not a big corporate thing. We hire local guys who know the land. Sometimes the weather stops us, like during the heavy rains. We just wait it out and start again. It’s hard work, digging and hauling stuff around. Our trucks are parked out back. My uncle started this originally, then it became a private limited company later on. We take on whatever projects the local authorities or neighbors need. It's mostly concrete and steel work. We don't spend money on ads. Word of mouth is how we find most of our work. If you come by the house, someone is usually there with tea. We keep it simple. There's no big strategy, just working day to day. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years. New houses going up everywhere. We just try to keep up with the demand. It’s a quiet life in Kupsarwadi but we stay busy enough with the machinery and the materials.
