Sanket General Store

Sanket General Store is located in Padegaon, right near the SBH Bank here in Aurangabad. Being close to the bank means we see a lot of people coming and going all day. Some stop by after finishing their work there. It’s a busy little spot in the Auranga area. We keep all the basic things people ask for, like soaps, oil, and various spices for cooking. I’ve been running this for a good amount of time now. The space isn't huge, so things are stacked pretty close together. Sometimes I have to climb a small ladder to reach the top boxes of detergent. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so I usually sit near the door. We have cold drinks in the fridge which people really like during the summer months. There’s always someone coming in for a last-minute item they forgot for dinner. We try to stock what the locals want. My brother comes in to help when I need to go to the market to get more stock. We don't really do anything big, just making sure the daily items are available for anyone living around here. The bank staff often comes in for snacks during their break. It feels like a part of the daily life in this bit of Aurangabad. We are just a simple shop trying to keep things running smoothly for our neighbors and the passersby who happen to be in the Padegaon area.
