Our office is located at Ahilyabai Holkar Chowk, in the Satara Parisar area of Aurangabad. We are at Plot Number 07 in Gut Number 216. It’s a growing part of town, and we’ve seen a lot of changes since we first opened our doors. We run a chit fund, which basically means we help people save up in a group. It’s an old way of doing things, but it still works well for the folks around here. The office is pretty basic, just a place to keep the records and hold our meetings. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations because that’s not what our members care about. They want to know their money is safe and that we’re doing things by the book. We’ve got a small team, and we all know each other well. Most days are spent answering phones or talking to people who stop by the chowk. Aurangabad can get pretty hot, but we keep the fans going and stay focused on the work. We don’t use a lot of technical terms when we talk to people. We just explain how the cycles work in plain English or the local language. It’s about being part of the community in the 431010 area. We’ve been here for a while and plan to keep at it. No big corporate fluff, just a local office helping people manage their savings together.
