Shop No 1 at Chaitanya Cidco N 4 is where you’ll find us. Rudraksha Naturopathy Clinic is a straightforward little spot in the CIDCO area. It’s a ground-floor shop, which is nice because nobody has to climb stairs to reach us. I like being in N 4; it has a certain neighborhood feel that you don't get in the bigger shopping malls. Every morning, I roll up the metal shutter and the light spills into the room. We keep things very basic here. There are no fancy decorations or expensive art on the walls, just the things we need for naturopathy. Most of our day is spent talking to people about their habits and how they’re feeling. It’s a slow kind of work, not like the emergency hospitals. You can hear the neighbors opening their shops around the same time we do. I usually bring my lunch from home and eat it in the back room when it’s quiet. Sometimes the mailman stops by for a chat. The address is simple enough that most locals know exactly where Chaitanya is. We’ve been here long enough that we’re just part of the local scenery now. It’s not a place that changes much, and I think people like that consistency. We aren't trying to be the biggest clinic in the city, just a reliable shop in CIDCO where you can come for a natural approach to health.
