Ranjay Gents Beauty Parlour

My shop is called Ranjay Gents Beauty Parlour and it is situated in the Goh Market area of Aurangabad, Bihar. We are right on the Gaya Road, which sees a lot of traffic and people moving between towns. I’ve been cutting hair here for several years. It’s a basic gents' parlour where men can come for a haircut, a shave, or a head massage. The shop isn't very large, but we have enough space for three people to sit and wait. I mostly work by myself, but sometimes I have a helper if it’s a festival day or a Sunday. The walls have a few old posters of different hairstyles, and I have a small TV that is usually playing the news or a cricket match. People in Goh are hardworking, and they just want a place where they can get a quick service and a bit of a chat. I use standard scissors and clippers. The Gaya Road can be quite loud with the trucks passing by, but we are used to it. I keep the shop open early so workers can stop in before their shift starts. It’s a plain, honest business. I don’t try to be anything I’m not. Just a local barber doing his job every day in the market. Most people stop by because they are traveling through or live nearby. We keep it simple and the price is always fair for everyone.
