This shop is located at N-9 M-2, right across from the Ganesh Mandir in HUDCO. We’ve been handling glasses and contact lenses in this spot for quite some time now. It’s a pretty straightforward setup. We have the frames on the walls and the testing equipment in the back room. People usually come in because they broke their frames or they can't see the TV as clearly as they used to. Being right opposite the temple means we get a lot of foot traffic, especially on festival days when things get really busy outside. We keep a variety of lenses in stock, though sometimes we have to order specific ones if it's a weird prescription. It takes a few days for those to arrive. The shop isn't very big, so if there are more than three people waiting, it starts feeling a bit tight. We don't do much fancy advertising; the sign out front is mostly how people find us. My cousin helps out with the cleaning and the billing most afternoons. We try to keep things simple and just get the job done so people can see better. It’s mostly about making sure the fit is right so the glasses don't slide down your nose. We see a lot of the same faces from around the HUDCO area. It’s a decent living and we like being part of the local market here.
