Rahul Foods

Rahul Foods is located in the Viraj Complex on Mill Corner Road in Aurangabad. We are right opposite the Anjali Cinema Hall, so we see a lot of people when the movie shows let out. We mostly sell packaged snacks, cold drinks, and some basic food items that people can take home. The shop is quite bright because of the big glass front, but it can get a bit hot during the summer months. I have a couple of refrigerators that hum quite loudly, but they keep the water and sodas cold. I usually stay open a bit later than the other shops because of the cinema crowd. It’s a good spot to be in, though parking can be a real headache for the customers. I handle everything myself, from ordering the crates to cleaning the floor at night. The shelves are made of metal and I try to keep the chips and biscuits at the front where people can see them easily. Sometimes I get bored when there’s no movie playing, so I just read the newspaper or talk to the watchman of the complex. The shop isn't huge, but it's enough for what I need to do. I’ve been here since the complex was relatively new, so I’ve seen the area change a lot over the years. We keep things simple and just try to have what people are looking for.
