R. L. Steels Ltd.

R. L. Steels Ltd. is out in the Midc Area, at F-18/19, Chikalthana. It is a proper industrial site where we handle a lot of steel. The yard is big and full of heavy stacks of metal that have been sitting there under the sun. Working with steel is not a clean job. Your clothes get stained and the air is always full of the sound of grinding and clanking. We have been in Chikalthana for quite a bit of time now. We don't bother with a lot of office decorations because most of our time is spent out where the metal is. We have a few machines for cutting the steel to size, and they have their own quirks that only our old operators really understand. It is a place of routine. We start early when it is still a bit cool and try to get the heavy loading done before the afternoon heat really kicks in. There are no fancy meetings or corporate events here. We just look at the orders, check the inventory in the yard, and get the trucks loaded up. It is basic, honest work. We don't make big promises, we just try to get the steel delivered when we said we would. It is a noisy, dusty life, but it is what we know how to do. We just focus on the heavy metal and making sure the counts are right before the trucks leave the gate each afternoon.
