The Aures

Being located right near Padampura Circle on Station Road means there is never a quiet moment here at The Aures. We are close to the P O Kranti Chowk in Aurangabad, so we get people coming and going at all hours of the day and night. The trains bring in a lot of folks, and we are usually busy making sure the rooms are ready and the lobby is clean. It’s a lot of back-and-forth between the kitchen and the front desk. Sometimes the city traffic outside gets so loud you can’t hear the person standing right in front of you, but that’s just life in this part of Maharashtra. We have a small team here, and everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, whether it’s fixing a leaky tap or helping someone with their luggage. The building has its quirks, like that one elevator that takes a bit too long or the stairs that creak, but it’s our place. We don’t try to act like a giant five-star chain; we just provide a place for people to stay while they are visiting the city. Most of our guests are just looking for a decent spot to rest before they head out to see the caves or finish their business meetings. We keep the lights on and the water running, and we try to be helpful when someone asks for directions.
