Saikrupa Hospital

You can find us at Ankush Plaza in Nutan Colony. We are directly across from the Ellora Hotel, which is a big landmark that helps people find their way here. The hospital occupies a good part of the plaza. It’s a busy area with people coming and going for all sorts of reasons. Inside, the floors are usually being mopped and there is that distinct smell of antiseptic everywhere. We have a few different wards and the doctors have their consultation rooms set up. It’s a local place, so we see a lot of people from the neighborhood. Some days are very quiet and we just sit at the front desk catching up on paperwork, but other days it feels like everyone in town needs something at once. The waiting chairs are usually full in the mornings. We don't have any of those high-tech automated systems you see in the big city hospitals; we do a lot of things the old-fashioned way with charts and clipboards. The staff is friendly enough but they are usually busy checking vitals or talking to families. Being in Nutan Colony means we are close to the markets and other shops, so it’s easy to grab a bite to eat during a break. We just try to keep things running smoothly so that when people come in feeling unwell, they can get what they need and go home to recover. It's a plain and simple setup for healthcare.
