Navnirman Affordable Housing Private Limited is located over at Plot Number E-16/2/3 in the MIDC area of Chikalthana. This is the industrial part of Aurangabad, so things are pretty dusty and there is always some kind of construction or truck movement happening nearby. Our office is in a block that feels very much like the rest of the 431006 pin code. It is a bit of a drive from the main city center, but being in the MIDC section means we are around other businesses all day. The building is simple and functional. We spend a lot of time here dealing with paperwork and talking to people who come in from the surrounding Maharashtra districts. The weather in Aurangabad gets really hot in the summer, so the fans are always spinning at full speed. It is not the kind of place where you find fancy decor. We have got our desks, our computers, and a lot of registers. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, which is just part of life in an industrial estate. We mostly focus on what is right in front of us. Most of the people working here have been around for a long time. We know the tea stall guy down the road and the security guards at the neighboring plots. It is a quiet existence despite the industrial noise outside, and we just keep at it day after day.
