Holidays Tour Travels is over at Plot No. 14 Nandanvan Colony in Chawni. We’ve been running this little travel office for a while now. It’s not a big place, just a simple office where we sit and figure out trip details for people. Chawni is usually a quiet spot, so it’s easy to find us if you’re looking for Nandanvan Colony. We handle a lot of things like booking bus seats and checking train timings. It gets really busy when school holidays start. Everyone wants to go somewhere at the same time. My cousin usually comes in to help when the phones won't stop ringing. We use a lot of paper registers because it’s just easier for us, though we have a computer for the official stuff. The office has a few chairs for people to sit while they wait. We don't have any flashy signs, just a small board near the gate. Sometimes we have to stay late to make sure a group gets their tickets on time. It’s a lot of work making sure all the bookings are right. We mostly help folks around here with local trips, but we can do longer ones too. There is a tea stall nearby that brings us snacks when we can't leave the desk. We just do what needs doing to help people get on their way. It’s a decent living and we like meeting the different people who walk through the door.
