Mould Technology

Mould Technology is over at Plot No.M-92/1 in the Waluj MIDC area. This is a big industrial zone, so we are surrounded by other factories and workshops. The sound of metal hitting metal and the hum of big machines is what you hear all day long here. Our plot is not the biggest, but we use every inch of it for our equipment and the moulds we are working on. The floor is usually covered in a bit of oil or metal shavings, no matter how much we sweep it. We have heavy doors that stay open during the day to let the air circulate, otherwise it would get much too hot inside. There are heavy cranes and tools everywhere you look. The staff here knows how to handle the machines, and we spend a lot of time looking at drawings and measuring things. It is precision work, but the environment is definitely rugged. We have a small cabin for the office part where we keep the computer and the files. Lunchtime is when everyone sits together and shares food from their tiffin boxes. Outside, the roads are full of trucks and workers in blue or grey shirts. It is a place where people work with their hands and things are made from scratch. We have been in Waluj for a while and we have seen many businesses come and go. We just keep our heads down and do our work.
