If you’re looking for us, we’re on the second floor in the Khadkeshwar area of Aurangabad. We are right near the Welcome Medical shop, which is a good landmark for people who haven't been here before. Being on the second floor means you have to walk up the stairs, which keeps us a little separated from the street level. We focus mostly on fish dishes, so the kitchen stays pretty busy with prep work throughout the day. The smell of frying fish is usually a giveaway that we're open for business. The space isn't huge, but we’ve managed to fit enough tables for the locals who come by for lunch and dinner. Aurangabad can get pretty dusty, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down and trying to keep the place looking decent. It’s a simple operation run by a small group of us. We don't have any corporate backing or anything like that, just a local kitchen doing what we know how to do. The neighborhood of Khadkeshwar is quite lively, and we see a lot of the same people every week. It’s just a straightforward fish joint where you can get a meal without any extra drama. We try to keep the prices fair and the food honest. It’s a bit of a climb, but we think it’s worth it for the view of the street.
