Mani Dairy & Ice

Mani Dairy & Ice is right here in Dinara, specifically at Kund Chowk in the Main Market area. It is quite a busy spot, especially when everyone is out doing their daily shopping near Gopalpur. We spend a lot of time just moving crates around and making sure the milk is cold when people come by in the morning. The main market gets pretty dusty during the day, so we are always wiping down the counters and the glass on the freezers. It isn't a huge operation, just enough to keep the local families stocked up on what they need. Some days are longer than others, especially when the heat is really coming down and everyone wants ice at the same time. You can hear the hum of the cooling units all day long, which is a sound you just get used to after a while. We have been in this spot for a bit now, and we know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. It's a lot of work lifting the heavy ice blocks and keeping everything organized in the small space we have. We don't have much time for sitting around because there is always something to clean or a delivery to check in. The traffic at the chowk can be a bit much in the evenings, but it brings people in who are looking for a quick snack or a cold drink before they head home.
