Mahavir Jan Sahyog Foundation

Our place is at Plot No 22 in the Dnyaneshwar Housing Society. This is over in Aurangabad, specifically in the 431001 zip code area. It’s a nice enough neighborhood, mostly families and people just going about their daily lives. We started the Mahavir Jan Sahyog Foundation here because we wanted to have a local spot where people could come together. It isn't a big flashy operation. We just have a basic setup in the house society. Sometimes it’s a bit quiet, and other times it seems like everyone in the society is stopping by at once. We don't really have a set routine that looks like a corporate office. Things happen when they need to happen. Whether it’s helping a neighbor or organizing some small local thing, we just do it. Sentence lengths are all over the place because that’s how we talk. We are just regular people. The foundation name sounds a bit formal, but we are anything but that. Most of us have other jobs or things we are doing, so we fit this in when we can. Aurangabad is a good place to be, and Dnyaneshwar society has been home for a long time. There is no big secret to what we do. We just try to be useful and keep the space open for whoever needs it. It’s simple, really. There is no need for anything more complicated than neighbors helping each other out when they can.
