Mahakali Super Market

Our place, Mahakali Super Market, is situated in Tilaknagar inside the Paripurti Apartment building. We are right at Sawarkar Chowk, which is a fairly busy spot in Aurangabad, especially since Roplekar Hospital is just across the street. Being near a hospital means we see a lot of different people every day, not just the regulars who live in the apartments above us. We carry a bit of everything, from dairy products and bread to cleaning soaps and various snacks. The shop is called a super market, but it is more of a friendly local store where you can find what you need for your kitchen. The layout is simple with a few aisles that get a bit crowded when more than three people are shopping at once. We spend our mornings checking the expiry dates on the milk and curd and making sure the vegetable crates are tidy, even if we only keep a few basic ones. It is hard work staying on your feet all day, but that is just how it is. Sometimes we forget to restock a certain brand of tea, and we have to tell the customers to wait until tomorrow. We don't use any big marketing tricks; we just open the doors and help whoever comes in. It is a busy life here at Sawarkar Chowk, but it keeps us moving.
