Sai Trading Company

Sai Trading Company is a small shop located at Roff Point, Shop No. 1. We are in the Disha Alankar area of CIDCO Connaught. One of the easiest ways to find us is to go behind Naik College. Because we are so close to the college, we see a lot of students walking by every day. The shop isn't very big, so we have to use every bit of shelf space we have. We trade in various goods and keep a lot of our stock piled up toward the back. Usually, the front door is open to let in some air, and we sit near the counter waiting for customers or deliveries. The CIDCO area is a busy commercial hub, so there’s always something going on outside. We know most of the other shop owners on our block. It’s a simple life of opening up in the morning, dusting the shelves, and checking what needs to be ordered. We don’t have a computer system for everything; a lot of our notes are still kept in notebooks. When the college lets out, the street gets very noisy with scooters and shouting. We stay until the evening when the market starts to quiet down a bit. It is a practical business where we focus on buying and selling what people in the neighborhood need. It’s not fancy, but it works for us and the people around here.
