Komal Ladies Parlour And Shoppee

Running Komal Ladies Parlour And Shoppee at Prarthikar Nagar in Aurangabad has been my daily life for several years now. We are located over at Plot No 22, in the N 11 area, right near the Hudco Corner. It is a bit of an interesting mix here because we have the parlour side of things and then we have the little shoppee part where we sell various small items that people might need. It stays fairly busy because of our location in Aurangabad Ho. I still remember when we first moved into this specific spot, it took us a long time to get all the mirrors and the wooden shelves to sit exactly right. Now, everything has its own little place. The ladies from around Prarthikar Nagar usually come by in the late afternoons. Sometimes they bring their small kids along and it gets a bit loud in the shop but I really do not mind the noise. Aurangabad gets quite hot during the summer months so the water cooler is always running in the corner. We mostly do stuff like threading or hair oiling and the usual parlour work people expect. I try to keep the shop part stocked with things that local people actually need every day. My neighbor from the next plot often drops in for a quick tea and a talk. It is a nice community thing. Being at Hudco Corner means we get people who are just passing through too. I handle most of the work myself but a helper comes on Saturdays.
