Kalami Dental Clinic

Kalami Dental Clinic has been here in Nawadi Bigha for a bit now. We spend most of our mornings setting up the trays and making sure the chairs are ready before the first person knocks. It is not a very fancy place, just a regular clinic where we look at teeth all day. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we have to wait a minute for the backup to kick in. People from around the neighborhood know us by now. They usually just walk in without much fuss. We have two dental chairs and a small waiting area that gets a bit crowded when the sun is out. I usually sit at the front desk when there aren't many patients. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't found the time yet. It gets busy on Mondays for some reason. We see a lot of kids who are a little scared of the tools, but we just try to talk to them until they calm down. Usually, we are wrapping things up by evening. Most of the time it is just about getting through the appointments one by one. There is a tea stall nearby where I get my chai every morning. It is a simple life here in Nawadi Bigha, and we just keep the clinic running as best as we can. We do not do anything too complicated, just the usual stuff people need.
