K K Packaging

You can find us over in the A.P.I. Compound in Chikalthana. We have a spot in the F-Wing of Bharat Bazar, occupying units C and D on the second floor. This area is mostly industrial, so there’s always the sound of trucks and machinery in the background. We do packaging, which means our space is usually overflowing with rolls of plastic and stacks of heavy paper. It’s not the quietest or cleanest work, but it’s what we know how to do. We have a small crew and many of us have been working together for a long time. We don't really do the whole corporate meeting thing. We usually just talk about what needs to be done while we’re having tea in the morning. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the afternoon getting greasy fixing them ourselves. We don't bother with fancy consultants or big presentations. We just focus on making sure the boxes and wraps are sturdy enough for whatever our customers are shipping. The compound gets pretty hot in the summer months, so we just keep the fans going and try to stay cool. It’s a very straightforward way to earn a living. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just our name on the door and a lot of work to get through. It feels good to see a loaded truck leave at the end of the day.
