Janstambh Socio Foundation

We're based out of Fl No 42, which is actually inside Fl No 23 on the second floor of Kandi Tower. It’s on Jalna Road in Aurangabad. If you know the area, you know Jalna Road is always humming with traffic. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we can sit down and get things sorted. Starting Janstambh felt like the right thing to do for the community here. Corporate culture doesn't exist here; we’re more likely to be arguing over where to order lunch than talking about growth charts. Most days are spent dealing with local issues and talking to folks who walk in. Aurangabad is a good place to work, even if it gets incredibly hot in the summer. Grand statements about ourselves aren't our style. We just show up, open the office, and see what the day brings. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out. It’s just life. Our address is 431001, and we’ve been in Kandi Tower long enough that the security guards know us all by name. Big words aren't used to impress anyone. We’re just a small foundation trying to do some good work in our own town, one day at a time. Office windows stay open to let in some air while we listen to the city. It’s not a perfect setup, but it’s ours. Often, we stay late just to finish off some filing for the day and prep for tomorrow.
