Abrar Bros. Co. (Kohinoor Brand Seeds)

We are Abrar Bros. Co. (Kohinoor Brand Seeds), and we are located at Shop No. 43 inside the APMC Market Yard. This place is always moving, especially early in the morning when the trucks are coming in. We handle Kohinoor brand seeds, so our shop is usually full of sacks and packets ready for the planting seasons. It’s a dusty kind of environment, but that’s just the nature of the market. You can smell the earth and the seeds when you walk in. Farmers and traders are always coming through the yard, and we’ve gotten to know a lot of them over the years. It’s not a quiet place to work. There is always shouting and the sound of carts being moved around. Our shop is just one of many in the yard, but we have our regular spot at number 43. We spend the day checking inventory and talking to people about what they need for their crops. The seasons really dictate how busy we are. When it’s time to sow, we barely have time to sit down. Other times, it’s a bit slower and we can catch up on the books. It’s the way we make our living, being part of the whole agricultural cycle. The market yard has a life of its own, and we are just a small part of that daily rhythm. We stay until the sun goes down and the yard finally starts to quiet down a bit. It is hard work but it feels right.
