Our workshop for Infilux Illuminations Private Limited is located in the MIDC Industrial Area in Chilkalthana. Being near the railway station means there is always a rhythmic sound of trains passing by in the background. It’s a busy industrial zone, and our unit is right in the thick of it. We spend most of our time working on lighting fixtures and illumination projects. It’s a lot of metalwork and wiring. The floor is usually covered in some scraps or packaging material because we are always moving things around. It’s not a showroom; it’s a place where things get built. The lighting in our own shop isn't always the prettiest, which is a bit funny given what we do, but it gets the job done. We’ve got a small crew of people who have been with us for a while. We know how to handle the tools and the materials. Chilkalthana is a good spot for us because of the transport links. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy logo on the wall. We just focus on the orders that come in and try to get them out on time. Sometimes it gets hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going and stay on task. It’s just a normal day-to-day life for us here, making sure the lights work before they leave the station area. There’s always a crate of empty soda bottles in the corner and a stack of blueprints on the main table.
