Heritage Himroo Foundation

We are based in Aurangabad, specifically near the MIT College on the Beed By-Pass road. Our location is Plot Number 03 in G. No. 55. Being near a college means there are always students around and the area has a lively feel to it, even if we are a bit further out from the main city center. At the Heritage Himroo Foundation, we work in a space that feels more like a workshop than a corporate office. Aurangabad has a long history with textiles, and we are just trying to keep that tradition alive in our own way. The building is simple and doesn't have any big frills. We have some looms and various tools spread out across the floor. It can get quite dusty, but that’s just part of the process when you’re working with fabric and threads all day. The weather out here gets very hot in the summer, so we usually start our day pretty early to get the bulk of the work done before the midday heat hits. We have a small garden area outside where we sometimes sit during breaks. It’s a bit quieter than the middle of the city, which we appreciate. People who come to visit us usually comment on how relaxed the atmosphere is compared to the big city offices. We just focus on our craft and keep things running as best as we can with the small team we have here, without rushing things too much.
