Gade Hospital

You can find us at Plot No.8 in the Chaitanya Housing Society, right across from the Gajanan Mandir. Being a hospital in a residential area like this means things stay interesting. People come in at all hours, sometimes just for a quick checkup and other times because something is really wrong. The temple across the street is a good landmark, and you can often hear the bells during the morning prayers while we are starting our rounds. It’s not a giant glass building like the ones in the city center. It’s a bit more modest, which I think makes people feel a little less nervous when they walk through the doors. The hallways can get a bit cramped when it’s a busy Monday, and the staff is always rushing back and forth between the beds. We have some old wooden chairs in the waiting area that have seen better days, but they do the job. Everyone knows everyone around here, so we end up treating a lot of our neighbors. It’s a lot of responsibility, and the nights can get very long when we have a patient who needs constant watching. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Word just gets around the society and the local area when someone needs help. We just try to keep the place clean, keep the medicine stocked, and look after whoever walks in.
