Frado Construction (Opc) Private Limited is a small operation, and our office is at 9/L/Mi/6 in Indira Gandhi Nagar. It’s an OPC, which means I run the show myself with just a couple of part-time helpers when things get busy. The office is really just a small room in a residential block. It’s not a corporate office by any stretch of the imagination. There’s a desk, a computer that’s a few years old, and a lot of files piled up on the shelves. Indira Gandhi Nagar is a crowded area, so there’s always the sound of kids playing or people talking outside the window. I handle all the construction planning and site management from here. It’s a lot of work for one person, but I prefer keeping things under my own control. I don’t have a marketing team or a fancy website. Most people find out about Frado Construction through word of mouth or by seeing the address on a project board. I spend most of my time out at the actual work sites, so the office is mainly for doing the accounts and the legal paperwork in the evenings. It’s a humble setup, but it’s mine. I don’t believe in using big fancy words to describe what I do. I just build things and make sure the permits are in order. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in a busy city. Sometimes the neighbors drop by for a chat while I'm working.
