Dsaes Foundation

You can find Dsaes Foundation at Dayanand Prasad’s place in the village of Dhekwahatola Jhargawan. We are part of the local Panchayat and fall under the Islampur block. It’s a bit of a trek if you’re coming from the main town, but it is a nice drive through the countryside. The office is basically a functional space within a larger property. We use it to coordinate everything for the foundation. There is a lot of back and forth between us and the local administration in Islampur. Most of the time, the office is a hub for community talk. People come in to share news or ask for help with different things. We have a few chairs set up outside under the shade when the weather is good, which is where a lot of the real talking happens. Inside, it is just a plain room with some basic furniture and a ledger for keeping track of things. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who care about what happens in Dhekwahatola. Dayanand Prasad is usually around if you need to speak with someone in charge. It’s the kind of place where you get a glass of water and a seat as soon as you arrive. We don't go in for formalities much. It is just about getting the work done for the block. The village is quiet, which helps us focus on our projects without much distraction from the outside world.
