Dr. Sujit Manohar Clinic

Dr. Sujit Manohar Clinic is situated right on Naga Bigha Road. If you are familiar with this part of town, you know it's a busy stretch of road. The clinic isn't very large, but we have enough space for the patients who come in every day. Dr. Sujit has his office in the back, and the front area is where everyone waits. We have some old benches and a fan that squeaks a little when it's on the high setting. It’s a very straightforward medical office without any of the fancy decorations you might see in those big city hospitals. We get a lot of people from the nearby houses who just walk over when they have a fever or need a prescription refilled. The paperwork is mostly kept in metal cabinets that we’ve had for years. Sometimes the traffic on Naga Bigha Road makes it hard to hear, but we’re used to it by now. We open up early because that’s when most people want to be seen before they head off to work or school. There is no big marketing plan here; we just put the sign out on the road and people find us. It’s a bit of a dusty spot sometimes because of the construction nearby, but we sweep it out every morning. It’s just a regular place where we try to help out the folks in the neighborhood with whatever is bothering them. The days can be long, especially when the waiting room gets full on Monday mornings.
