Dilasa Janvikas Foundation

We are based in Aurangabad, specifically in the MIDC area near the railway station. Our place is in Pride Park, Flat Number 4, Type B. It’s a pretty straightforward setup. Being near the station means it's always active around here. You can hear the trains sometimes if it’s quiet enough. The flat isn't huge, but it's enough for the few of us who are here daily. We have some basic furniture and a couple of computers to get our work done. It’s a bit dusty because of the industrial area nearby, but that’s just how it is in this part of Maharashtra. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations or expensive signs. We just have our name on the door and we get to it. Most days involve a lot of paperwork and phone calls. We know the neighbors in the building, and it’s a friendly enough place. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out or work on things that don't need electricity. It’s a practical location for us since we need to be where things are happening. We don't try to impress anyone with a big office. It’s just a room where we can sit and focus on the tasks at hand. We've been here for a bit and it feels like home now. The commute is easy for most of us, which is a big help given the traffic.
