Dheshmukh Hospital

Dheshmukh Hospital is situated right by Deolai Square on the Beed Bypass. You can hear the trains passing by because of the railway crossing right there. It’s a busy spot with trucks and cars zooming past all the time. Inside, we try to keep things a bit calmer. We have been here for a good while now, serving the people who live out this way. It’s not a huge place, just a decent-sized hospital with the basic departments. Most of us live nearby, so we know the area well. The waiting room gets dusty because of the road construction nearby, so we are always sweeping. We see all sorts of things, from minor fevers to bigger accidents since we are right on the bypass. It’s hard work and the shifts are long, but that’s the medical life. We don’t have a fancy cafe or anything like that, just a small tea stall around the corner if someone needs a break. The doctors are usually in and out, and the nurses do most of the heavy lifting. We keep the records in big folders and try our best to stay organized. It’s an honest place. If you are coming from the crossing, just look for our sign before the square. We are usually here round the clock for emergencies and general checkups for the families in the area. We just do our best with what we have.
